  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Optional: Chopped walnuts, chocolate chips, dried fruits

Instructions

  • Peel the ripe bananas and mash them in a large mixing bowl until smooth with a few lumps.
  • Add melted butter and sugar to the mashed bananas, mixing until combined.
  • Crack in the eggs and pour in the vanilla extract, stirring gently.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  • Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Line a small loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and place in the air fryer.
  • Set the timer for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  • Allow to cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
