Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Sesame seeds
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. In a medium bowl, toss the chicken with the cornstarch until it’s evenly coated.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • While the chicken is cooking, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and place it in a large bowl. Pour the Bang Bang sauce over the chicken and toss to coat evenly. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
