Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large tortillas (burrito size), flour or whole wheat
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, crispy
  • 8 ounces sliced turkey breast, deli-style
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the tortillas. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. If they are stiff, you can warm them slightly in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds to make them more pliable. This will prevent them from tearing when you roll them.
  • Spread the sauce. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Spread a thin layer of this mixture evenly over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edge. This adds flavor and helps to bind the ingredients together.
  • Layer the fillings. Divide the turkey evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center. Top with the cooked bacon, sliced avocado, chopped tomato, and shredded lettuce. Don’t overfill the tortillas, or they will be difficult to roll.
  • Season. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper to taste. Remember, bacon and some deli turkey can be salty, so go easy.
  • Roll the wraps. Fold in the sides of the tortilla towards the center, then tightly roll it up from the bottom. Tuck in the fillings as you roll to create a secure wrap.
  • Slice and serve. Cut each wrap in half diagonally. Serve immediately or wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for later. They’re perfect for lunchboxes!

Notes

Juicy turkey, crisp bacon, creamy avocado, all snuggled up in a soft tortilla. It’s like a little taste of sunshine right here in Texas! Easy, fresh, and flavorful wraps perfect for a quick lunch, picnic, or simple supper.
