  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1 (16 ounce) container ciliegine mozzarella balls
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Instructions

  • Prepare the Tomatoes. Halve the cherry and grape tomatoes. Set aside in separate bowls.
  • Assemble the Base. On a large serving platter or wooden board, start arranging the halved cherry tomatoes in a curved candy cane shape.
  • Add the Mozzarella. Add the ciliegine mozzarella balls to create the white stripes of the candy cane. Alternate between the tomatoes and mozzarella to create a visually appealing pattern.
  • Add Basil. Tuck fresh basil leaves in between the tomatoes and mozzarella balls.
  • Season and Drizzle. Lightly season the Caprese board with salt and pepper to taste. Then, drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  • Serve. Serve immediately and enjoy this festive and flavorful appetizer!
