Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14-ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 (12-ounce) bottle chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 (24-ounce) package frozen cooked meatballs (beef, turkey, or vegetarian)

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, whisk together the cranberry sauce, chili sauce, water, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cinnamon, and cloves. Make sure everything is well combined and there are no large lumps of cranberry sauce.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. You’ll notice the sauce starts to thicken slightly and the flavors meld together beautifully.
  • Gently add the frozen meatballs to the simmering sauce. Stir to coat them evenly with the cranberry mixture.
  • Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and let the meatballs simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until they are heated through and the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Serve warm and enjoy!
