Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese, full-fat or low-fat
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (or oat flour)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (dark, milk, or semi-sweet)

Instructions

  • Combine the Ingredients. In a medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese, almond flour, maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Stir well until everything is smooth and there are no lumps.
  • Fold in the Chocolate Chips. Gently fold in the chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough. This adds the perfect amount of sweetness and melty goodness.
  • Shape the Dough. Using a small cookie scoop or a spoon, form the dough into small balls. I usually make about 8-10 small cookie dough bites.
  • Air Fry. Place the cookie dough balls in your air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until the cookie dough is golden brown and slightly firm on the outside. Keep a close eye on them, as air fryers can vary.
  • Cool and Enjoy. Remove the cookie dough bites from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. They will be very hot right out of the air fryer! The insides will be soft and gooey.
