Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces of fettuccine or linguine
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup of heavy cream
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
6 ounces of smoked salmon, roughly chopped
½ cup of fresh dill, chopped
½ cup of fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add in your fettuccine or linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of the cooking water for later, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
In the same pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until it becomes fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, followed by the lemon juice, stirring gently.
Add the smoked salmon and let it simmer just until warmed through, about 2–3 minutes. If the sauce feels too thick, drizzle in some of that reserved pasta water.
Fold in the cooked pasta, fresh dill, and parsley, tossing everything together. Season with salt and pepper to elevate the flavors.
Notes
A delicious and sophisticated creamy smoked salmon pasta dish, perfect for both casual weeknight dinners and elegant gatherings.
