Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 – 2 pounds salmon fillet, skin on or off
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, red pepper flakes (if using), and lemon juice.
  • Place the salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet. Pat it dry with a paper towel, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the glaze evenly over the salmon fillet, ensuring it’s coated on all sides.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  • For a more caramelized glaze, broil for the last minute or two, watching carefully to prevent burning. (Optional)
  • Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley or dill. Serve immediately and enjoy!
