- 4 large eggs, separated
- 3 ounces (about 1/3 cup) full-fat cottage cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Carefully separate the egg yolks from the whites. Place the yolks in one bowl and the whites in another.
- In the bowl with the egg yolks, add the cottage cheese and garlic powder (if using). Mix well.
- In the bowl with the egg whites, add the cream of tartar. Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the yolk mixture into the egg whites in two additions. Be careful not to overmix.
- Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, making 6 equal-sized mounds.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cloud bread is lightly golden brown and set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet. Gently peel them off the parchment paper.
