  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped Snickers bars

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (3-5 minutes).
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Snickers bars.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
