Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pound cooked noodles (spaghetti, linguine, or egg noodles work great)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken. In a medium bowl, combine the chicken pieces with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Toss well to coat.
  • Make the Sauce. In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
  • Cook the Chicken. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  • Add the Sauce and Noodles. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken. In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with the water to create a slurry. Pour the slurry into the skillet and stir continuously until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  • Garnish and Serve. Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!
