Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken, grilled, fried, or rotisserie
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup homemade croutons
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 flour tortillas or wraps, 10-inch

Instructions

  1. Combine the lettuce, chopped chicken, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons in a large bowl.
  2. Toss well with tongs until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Taste the mixture and add more dressing if desired.
  5. Set the Caesar salad mixture aside.
  6. Warm a large pan over medium heat.
  7. Place one tortilla in the pan and warm for 15 to 30 seconds per side until pliable.
  8. Remove the warm tortilla and place it on a plate.
  9. Cover the warm tortilla with a kitchen towel to keep it warm.
  10. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
  11. Alternatively, warm tortillas in the microwave between paper towels for 15 to 30 seconds.
  12. Lay a warm tortilla on a clean surface.
  13. Divide the Caesar salad mixture evenly between the four tortillas.
  14. Place the mixture in the center of each tortilla.
  15. Fold in opposite sides of each tortilla.
  16. Roll up each tortilla, burrito-style.
  17. Insert a toothpick in the center of each wrap to help keep it closed, if desired.
  18. Cut each wrap in half or serve them whole.

Notes

Ensure chicken is fully cooled before mixing to maintain lettuce crispness.
Warm tortillas just enough to make them flexible and prevent tearing.
Avoid overfilling the wraps for easier rolling and assembly.
For the best texture and crunch, assemble wraps just before serving.
Store any leftover filling (without croutons) separately to prevent sogginess.
