An incredibly easy and addictive sweet and salty chocolate peanut candy made right in your slow cooker.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 ounces white chocolate almond bark broken into pieces
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces chocolate bar or chocolate bark
  • 5 cups salted dry roasted peanuts
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of your crockpot or insert a crockpot liner for easy cleanup.
  2. Line two baking sheets with Silpat liners or wax paper and set them aside.
  3. Place the broken white chocolate almond bark pieces on the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Add the salted dry roasted peanuts, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and chocolate bar/bark pieces into the crockpot on top of the almond bark.
  5. Place the lid on the crockpot and set it to low for one hour.
  6. After one hour, remove the lid and stir the mixture thoroughly to cover all the peanuts with the melted chocolate.
  7. If there are still unmelted chocolate pieces, place the lid back on and continue to cook.
  8. Stir every 15 minutes until all the chocolate is completely melted and smoothly coats the peanuts.
  9. Using a cookie scoop or two tablespoons, scoop a heaping tablespoon of the candy mixture onto the lined baking sheets.
  10. Immediately add sprinkles to the top of each scooped candy, if desired.
  11. Let the candies set out at room temperature until completely cooled and the chocolate is firm.
  12. Store the Crockpot Christmas Crack in an airtight container.

Notes

Using a crockpot liner makes cleanup incredibly easy.
Ensure peanuts are salted to get that perfect sweet and salty balance.
Add sprinkles immediately after scooping before the chocolate sets.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for best results.
