These delightful rolls combine crisp cucumber and creamy cheese in a soft lavash bread for a refreshing snack or light meal.

  • 4 pieces lavash bread or large, flour tortillas
  • 8 Persian cucumbers or 2 large English cucumbers
  • 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature

Instructions

  1. Peel the cucumber if using English cucumbers. Do not peel Persian cucumbers.
  2. Thinly slice the cucumber.
  3. Lay one piece of lavash bread on your workspace.
  4. Spread some room temperature cream cheese evenly over the lavash bread.
  5. Leave one of the short ends of the lavash bread with some empty space.
  6. Layer the thinly sliced cucumber over the cream cheese.
  7. Begin rolling the bread tightly from the short end that does not have the empty space.
  8. Ensure no air gaps form while rolling.
  9. Cut the rolled lavash with a sharp serrated knife into four equal pieces.
  10. Wipe the knife with a damp paper towel between each cut for clean slices.
  11. Secure each cucumber and cream cheese sandwich roll piece with a long sandwich pick.
  12. Serve immediately for best results, or refrigerate for just a few hours.

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy spreading.
Slice cucumbers very thinly for neat rolls.
