Buttery, melt-in-your-mouth cookies packed with white chocolate chips, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups softened butter (salted or unsalted)
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2-1 cup sprinkles in colors of your choice (optional)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Beat softened butter and 3/4 cup powdered sugar with a mixer until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla extract and mix well until combined.
  4. Add salt and all-purpose flour to the mixture.
  5. Mix until the salt and flour are well combined into the dough.
  6. Mix in white chocolate chips.
  7. If using, mix in sprinkles and/or mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  8. Dough will be thick.
  9. Using a small cookie scoop, drop cookie dough onto cookie sheets.
  10. Leave about 2 inches between each cookie on the baking sheet.
  11. Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes or until just starting to lightly brown.
  12. Remove from oven.
  13. Allow to cool on baking sheets for at least 10 minutes.
  14. If desired, dust with additional powdered sugar before serving.
  15. Store in airtight containers.

Notes

Ensure butter is properly softened for a smooth, fluffy dough.
Do not overmix the dough once flour is added to prevent tough cookies.
Cool cookies on the baking sheet for at least 10 minutes before moving, as they are delicate when warm.
Dust with powdered sugar while still warm for the best ‘snowball’ effect.
